Position Overview

As a Family Nurse Practitioner, you will play a critical role in assessing and managing the care of individuals undergoing withdrawal. Your responsibilities include examining patients, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing methadone, and advising on health maintenance. You'll work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care, occasionally covering for the Medical Director, and participating in staff training and education.

Compensation & Benefits

  • $50–$65 per hour

  • Ideal Candidate

    The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of substance use disorder treatment and demonstrate a compassionate approach to patient care. You should be adept at maintaining client confidentiality and fostering positive working relationships. A minimum of one to two years of relevant clinical experience is preferred, particularly in substance use or behavioral health settings. A valid Connecticut medical license and certification as a Nurse Practitioner are required.
