Schedule: 24 weeks of day shifts annually, 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday through Monday

Position Overview

As a Hospitalist, you will provide comprehensive care to observation and inpatient populations. Responsibilities include managing admissions, patient rounding, developing treatment plans, coordinating care with consulting services, and ensuring precise documentation. You will also engage in medical education and mentorship, supporting the academic mission of the health system. The role follows a block schedule and offers opportunities for additional compensation through night shifts and per diem rates.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will be board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine, with a strong commitment to evidence-based medicine and patient education. A collaborative spirit and excellent bedside manner are essential, along with a willingness to engage in both patient care and teaching. Residency within 35 miles of the hospital is encouraged.
